SALE OF VENTYA TO HARRIS FRANCE

Ventya, publisher of solutions dedicated to the exchange of dematerialized flows in SaaS mode, joins the French subsidiary of the Canadian software giant N. Harris Computer Corporation.

Ventya has been supporting 250 clients for more than 10 years through its EDI and Clear’Invoice solutions, an on-demand SaaS solution for tax dematerialization.

The company, which generates more than 6 million euros in turnover for more than 11% of Ebitda in 2021, has acquired recognized know-how in the processing of electronic messages of all kinds: product catalogs, order forms, real-time reservations, dispatch notices, electronic invoices, payment notices, etc., at the service of leading players, particularly in the automotive sector, tourism and the world of books.

Driven by the obligation for companies to issue their invoices in dematerialized format vis-à-vis the private sector and the administrations, and having the desire to be backed by a major player in the software market, the shareholders of Ventya have entrusted a transfer mandate to the investment bank Crescendo finance.

Harris France, which wanted to acquire GED expertise and achieve the acquisition of new strategic customers, was able to stand out for the quality of its offer, whether in terms of the critical mass brought to Ventya or the financial conditions of the deal. . Harris France, which aims to reach 100m in revenue by 2025, is the bridgehead in France of N. Harris Computer Corporation, itself a subsidiary of the Constellation Software Inc group, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and generating more of 3 billion USD in turnover.

Tony Penochet, President of Harris France: “We are delighted with the acquisition of Ventya, which has made a name for itself in the document dematerialization market. The latter being an essential CSR issue for Harris France customers, Ventya will be able to benefit from strong synergies with our group, which wanted to strengthen itself in France through external growth. »

Dominique Bougnot, Managing Director of Ventya: “Joining a group of the stature of Harris whose corporate culture appealed to us is a great opportunity for Ventya. Our dynamics of growth and recurrence will be able to be greatly accelerated. »

Yoann Roussel, Partner of Crescendo finance:

“We are proud to have supported the sale of a benchmark publisher in the demat market, a subject related to sustainable development that is particularly close to our hearts.”
