Franco-Swiss data & cloud expert Dats’up joins Jems Group
This acquisition takes Jems Group’s turnover above €100m, including €20m in Switzerland, and strengthens its expertise in the AWS cloud platform.
Dats’up is an ESN with 80 consultants specialising in data, dedicated to on-premise and cloud integration and migration projects for the banking, finance and insurance sectors, among others. Dats’up has a turnover of almost €9m.
It has a strategic partnership with AWS (AWS Selected Consulting Partner) for the public cloud, and has also developed a multi-cloud strategy with Google Cloud and Rancher and Elastic for the on-premise side. Its consultants are Talend, Azur, Hadoop (big data), DevOps, ITIL and Scrum certified.
With offices in Paris and Geneva, Dats’up represented a highly-specialised target of choice for Jems Group, which wanted to strengthen its position in data exploitation and move-to-cloud projects in both countries.
Jems Group is an ESN specialising in big data, with more than 30 technological partnerships with publishers. With operations in France, Switzerland, Romania, Belgium, Spain, Morocco and Tunisia, Jems Group is majority-owned by the Meanings Capital Partners investment fund.
Working with the major players in the CAC 40 with services centred on AI, data management and cloud migrations, the 900-strong group is growing at a faster rate than its competitors.
