Grown at the highest elevations of Tarrazú, within a natural reserve where sustainability and heritage intertwine, Sañeri is a testament to our farm’s dedication to both quality and conservation. This lot undergoes an aerobic natural process, where whole cherries are meticulously dried on raised beds for 10 to 15 days. The steady oxygen exposure promotes a clean and even fermentation, enhancing the coffee’s bright fruit character, delicate acidity, and crisp finish. With layered notes of berries and dried plum, Sañeri offers a refined, lighter expression of the region’s terroir. The surrounding biodiverse ecosystem - where 80% of the land is preserved as a conservation area - naturally contributes to the coffee’s complexity, ensuring each harvest embodies the harmony between the land, its people, and their traditions.
