The Dalmore 12 Year is a remarkable whisky that showcases the rich heritage of the Dalmore distillery, which has been producing exceptional spirits since 1839. This whisky is initially aged for nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, allowing it to absorb the sweet, caramelized flavors of the wood. After this maturation, half of the spirit is transferred to ex-oloroso sherry casks for an additional three years, imparting a rich sherried character that complements the whisky's natural sweetness.
