Taste
Clyde May's Straight Bourbon offers a deliciously rich and nuanced experience. On the nose, it greets you with inviting aromas of perfect sweet touches on the mouth. The palate is pleasingly harmonious, with strawberry and baked apricot, and subtle smooth notes, leading to a long, warm finish with hints of nutmeg. It is medium bodied with sweet notes of caramelized strawberry, baked apricot, and nutmeg. Aged to perfection, this unique bourbon has been aged for five years, enabling it to develop a deep, complex character and flavor that reflects the heights of French bourbon production, making each sip a memorable journey through its intricacies and craftsmanship.

History
Clyde May's Straight Bourbon is crafted by Spirit Acquisitions of Texas, who purchased the label in 2009 (and since that time, Kenny May is no longer involved with the production). According to the filing with the Tax and Trade Bureau, it is produced by Florida Distillers as of 2012 (formerly with Kentucky Bourbon Distillers). In an interview with Tasting Panel Magazine (Kelly Merritt, December 2013), there are plans to build a distillery and bottling plant in Alabama, aiming to honor the legacy of Clyde May. Conecuh Ridge was named the official spirit of the state of Alabama in 2004 despite a veto from Governor Bob Riley, which was overridden by the legislature, showcasing the bourbon's significance in the region. Clyde May's bourbon contains no apples and is a straight bourbon, celebrated for its rich flavor and adherence to traditional distilling methods.

Please drink responsibly, you must be at least 21 years of age to drink alcoholic beverages.
