Cambio Tequila Reposado is produced at NOM 1605 in Los Altos de Jalisco, the highland growing region prized for its red clay soils and elevation, which coax intensely flavored piñas from 100% Blue Weber agave grown on a single estate. The liquid undergoes a two-stage aging regimen: one month in Burgundy and Bordeaux barrels, followed by five months in French oak Chardonnay casks. Cambio is a certified member of the Additive Free Alliance — nothing added — and has been recognized among the Top 100 Spirits.
The nose opens with tropical fruit and white flower alongside butterscotch and toasted almond. On the palate, vanilla bean and butterscotch carry the weight, supported by ripe tropical fruit, almond, and the mineral undercurrent characteristic of highland agave. The finish is long and warm, with lingering vanilla and a gentle note of French oak carried over from the Chardonnay casks.
